Installation
Keyhole ships as a single, statically-linked binary with no runtime dependencies. Pick whichever channel fits your setup — they all land you on the same keyhole command.
Quick install
The install script detects your platform and architecture, downloads the matching release, verifies its checksum (and cosign signature, if cosign is present), and drops the binary into ~/.local/bin.
$ curl -LsSf https://keyholetui.com/install.sh | sh
Make sure ~/.local/bin is on your $PATH. The script prints the exact
line to add if it isn't.
Package managers
Prebuilt packages are attached to every GitHub release.
# Nix flake — try it without installing, or install into your profile
$ nix run github:AlexKasapis/Keyhole
$ nix profile install github:AlexKasapis/Keyhole# Debian / Ubuntu — download the .deb from Releases, then:
$ sudo apt install ./keyhole_*_amd64.deb
# Fedora / openSUSE — download the .rpm, then:
$ sudo dnf install ./keyhole-*.x86_64.rpm # or: zypper install
Homebrew, the AUR, and a cargo install keyhole crates.io release are on the way —
the install script, Nix, and the .deb / .rpm assets are the supported
channels today.
