Using Keyhole

Keyspace & values

The two top panes are where you spend most of your time: a navigable view of the keyspace on the left, and a typed inspector for the selected value on the right.

The keys pane

Keys are grouped by their :-delimited prefix into a collapsible tree, with the count of members shown per group. Each row carries the key's type, TTL, and serialized size.

Value inspector

The inspector renders each Redis type natively — strings, hashes, lists, sets, sorted sets and streams each get a purpose-built view.

Filter & sort

Hit / and type a glob to filter; cycle the sort column with o, and flip the direction with O.

# filter input — glob match, scoped to the tree
/ session:*

Read-only console

The Console tab gives you a command line that only accepts read paths. Mutating commands are rejected before they ever reach the server.

> HGETALL session:9f2ac1 # ok
> DEL session:9f2ac1 # blocked — read-only
note

Read-only is enforced before a command leaves Keyhole — mutating commands never reach the server, so the console is safe to point at production.
